Latest News!New Date - Following last Sunday's postponement due to the poor weather conditions, Felixstowe Firework Spectacular takes place today, Sunday 8th November. Advance tickets sales have now ended. Admission will be available on the gate from 5pm. Last years event was enjoyed by thousands of people, making it the biggest display in the Town as well as raising funds for Cancer Research Uk. You can view highlights of the 20 minute display here link 2009 is promising to be even more spectacular than last with more entertainment on offer and this years nominated Charity will be EACH - East Anglian Childrens Hospices. 
@Town Ground, Dellwood Avenue, Felixstowe. Gates open 5pm, Display at 7pm. The fun does not stop with the firework display, we're putting on plenty of entertainment to keep you warm. There is a funfair, fire eater & jugglers, a fire spinning act, the Samboomba Samba Band and lots of sideshows as well as a range of hot food and refreshments. The programme of events for Sunday evening has today been revealed (timings are approximate and subject to change on the night): - 5:00pm - Gates Open, Funfair and sideshows open
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm - Phil Blackmore, Fire Eating / Fire Juggling on unicycle at various times throughout the evening.
- 6:00pm - 6:15pm - Fire spinning act.
- 6:15pm - 7:00pm - Samboomba Samba Band
- 6:45pm - Judging of Guy Competition
- 7:00pm - Countdown led by BBC Radio Suffolk's Stephen Foster
- 7:00pm - 7:20pm - Firework Display
- 7:20pm - 7:40pm - Fire Spinning act
- 7:40pm - 8:15pm - Samboomba Samba Band
- 9:00pm - Funfair closes.
You can win the chance to start the display! If you are under 16, bring along a Guy and the winner will press the plunger to start the display. Entires should be in by 6.30pm, judging will take place at 6.45pm by BBC Radio Suffolk's Stephen Foster who will then conduct the countdown to the spectacular firework display. 
DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES, FIREWORKS MAY NOT BE BROUGHT INTO THE GROUND (INCLUDING SPARKLERS). ANY FIREWORKS FOUND INSIDE THE GROUND WILL BE CONFISCATED AND WILL BE AVAILABLE TO COLLECT ON THE GATE AT THE END OF THE EVENT. THANKYOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION |
